My granddaughter, Payton, got a new bunny and named it Chloe!

Shirley's Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients:

1 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour (all purpose)
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt (scant)
1 cup carton sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Method:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after every addition. Add salt. Sift soda with flour. Add flour mixture alternating with sour cream. Add vanilla. Pour into greased, floured and paper lined tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes. The temperature and time of baking may vary depending on your oven.

(Do not open the oven door during baking.)
