Black-Eyed Pea Dip

Ingredients:

4 cups black-eyed peas, cooked and drained
5 jalapenos, canned
1 Tablespoon jalapeno juice
1/2 medium onion, chopped
Green chilis, 4-oz. can
1 clove of garlic, chopped fine

Method:

Mix all above ingredients in blender.
Heat in double boiler:
1/2 pound Old English sharp cheese
1/2 pound butter
Add blended ingredients to cheese mixture. Serve in chafing dish with potato chips, corn chips or tortillas.
Great way to use left-over black-eyed peas; and, great fun to use on New Year’s Day.
